Youth Employment Lab

S4YE is creating a Youth Employment Lab to develop operational innovations with potential for scale in cooperation with World Bank regional teams. This platform aims to ensure that youth acquire the right skills required by employers, leverage workplace-based opportunities, and support entrepreneurial youth boost their business productivity.

S4YE, housed in the Labor and Skills Global Solutions Group with Social Protection Global Practice of the World Bank, is financed by the Jobs Umbrella Multi-Donor Trust Fund. The current donors to the Jobs MDTF include Austria (Federal Ministry of Finance), Germany (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, BMZ), Italy (Ministry of Economy and Finance), Sweden (International Development Cooperation Agency, Sida), United Kingdom (Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office), Austrian Development Cooperation and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ).
